Why people should have faith in the Bible?

The Bible is the Holy book of the Christians. It contains the divine message of Jesus Christ and the history of human civilization. As a matter of fact, the Bible accepts the God as the supreme power and hails him as the architect of the universe. However, the detractors of the Bible do not have faith in its doctrines and scriptures. On the contrary, the believers of Christian religion strongly advocate the teachings of the holy book.

The contents of the Bible explain the basic issues regarding human existence on earth and define the consequence of the battle between good and evil. The Bible has 2 divisions: the Old Testament and the New Testament. Two eminent apostles named Paul and Peter believed that the prophecy and teachings of Bible were inspired by the almighty. It can not be denied that the writers of Bible wrote in different periods but still their writings bear lots of resemblance.

The Bible shows the way to mankind to achieve salvation by following the divine path of Jesus Christ. The New and old Testaments portray Jesus as the true savior of human race. The bible teachings also enable one to understand what lies in the future for mankind. There are total 66 books that comprise the Bible. One amazing thing about this religious book is that it was composed over 1500 years by 40 different authors. The books were composed in various nations like Italy, Babylon, Egypt and Israel. The last book of the New Testament named Revelation contains accounts of an Armageddon between evil and good and the impending end of the universe.

The Old Testament is divided into 4 chief parts. The first few books are known as the books of Moses. These narrate the creation of man and the events leading to the building of human civilization in earth. The Historical books begin with Book of Joshua and ends with the Book of Esther. These books tell the story of the Jews or the Israelites and the way God dealt with them. The Poetic books were composed in poetic form in Hebrew language. These books contain teachings and doctrine about the duties of man. The Old Testament concludes with the books of the prophets.

The life story of Jesus Christ has been told by 4 different apostles in their own ways and they form the New Testament. This religious book tells the way Jesus sacrificed his life for the benefit of mankind. The acts of the apostles composed by Luke narrate the events that took place after the resurrection of Christ. It also records the accounts of the formation of the first churches. As per the Bible, Christ himself had profound faith in the prophecy and messages of the Old Testament.

People who have doubts regarding the authenticity of the events narrated in the Bible can visit the site bibletruth.org.au. This will help an individual to have a clear understanding of the divine book.
